Cosmo Stefan began his training in 1994, during a ten-month intensive training program, he obtained his hairstyling licence. He has furthered his career by attending numerous classes to maintain a high level of knowledge and experience in his field. He has obtained certification in Tony and Guy’s “Back to Basics”, Wella Master Colourist, Goldwell Master Colourist and has attended numerous Sebastian, Aveda, Davines, Framesi and Goldwell cutting classes. His well-rounded career began in the Kitchener/Waterloo area where after four years of practicing his craft, he decided to expand his horizons and move to Toronto. There, he was able to share his talent working in a high-end salon in Yorkville and then for a world renowned Spa in the Downtown Toronto core. Cosmo also spent some time styling hair for Dini Petty and Carla Collins, two great Canadian talk show divas. After two years in Toronto, he was missing the small town feel of the K-W area and soon after, returned to his roots. After eight years of working for two well established salons in Waterloo, where five were spent in a mentor role, Cosmo decided to pursue his dream and open his own salon. Atmosp’hair Salon opened its doors December 2008, after months of planning. The salon is quickly making its mark in Waterloo’s Beechwood area. Cosmo is a very dedicated hairstylist who places great emphasis on customer service and he mentors his stylists to embody his vision of extraordinary hair care and exceptional service. His passion and dedication to his craft have been expressed through his day-to-day interactions with his guests and through the numerous fashion shows, photo shoots and charity fundraiser cut-a-thons in which he has participated.
